Here at Xavier House, we are thrilled to announce the grand opening of Xavier Thrift Boutique on Wednesday, November 13, 2024! Located at 88 Broadway in Corner Brook, our new thrift shop is a task program that provides residents with valuable skills and hands-on experience that may help them in future employment. Residents who work at the thrift store will earn $10/hour during their four-hour shifts, offering them a sense of purpose and an opportunity to supplement their monthly $150 comfort allowance.
As a non-profit organization, Xavier House is dedicated to supporting individuals living with mental illness by offering a supervised, supportive home environment. With a wide selection of clothes, household items, holiday decor, and more, we invite you to come celebrate our opening, score some great finds, and support a good cause. Happy thrifting!
